The place

The Costa da Morte takes its name from old shipwrecks, but today it is mostly known for empty beaches, lighthouses and very good octopus.

Casa do Faro is a ten-minute walk from the sea. Swims are cold, short and always worth it.

Where we stay

Casa do Faro

A former lighthouse keeper’s house, now nine rooms, a sea-facing studio and a garden of hydrangeas.
